if you're looking for some chain asmr, look no further. these curb links are perfectly worn and rounded and have the most spectacular weight and sound. they truly don't make them like this anymore

it was once plated with a shiny chrome or rhodium, as is true of many Italian chains, which has nearly worn away leaving a dynamic contrast and matte finish that gives the links extra visual dimension. on one side of the chain the plating is darker than the base silver and on the other side of the chain the plating is lighter than the base silver

in good vintage condition

scratches, dents and dings throughout the surface of the vintage links and hardware

it has been recently cleaned and soaked in a liquid cleaner that removes all patina, which revealed a light grey base hue of silver peaking through where the plating is wearing away. the finish cannot be changed much without damaging the links, so the price reflects the variations in hue and texture throughout the links.

the jump ring between the clasp and chain is a replacement that isn't plated, so it's a brighter white hue than the adjacent findings
